Start It Up! Business Simulator

Commissioned by the Georgia Council on Economic Education (GCEE) and Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB), Start It Up! is an immersive business simulator designed to guide high school students, college students, and aspiring entrepreneurs through the complexities of launching a startup. The experience challenges users to manage various company types, focusing on critical milestones such as fundraising, operational strategy, and adaptation to unexpected events.

Start It Up! transforms abstract economic standards into a high-stakes, replayable learning adventure by integrating a unique retro-future aesthetic with a mentor system for real-time financial feedback. This immersive approach allows the game to mirror real-world business outcomes, challenging students to master financial complexities through engaging, iterative gameplay.
